Senior Scientist (Biomarker)

Location: Thousand Oaks CA

This position will be responsible for directing biomarker discovery and development activities in support of clinical candidates from pre-First in Human studies through later stage clinical development. This will involve supervision of laboratory staff for assay development, qualification and execution in clinical trials. Additionally, extensive collaboration with other technology groups, research groups and clinical development staff members to develop and execute biomarker strategies will be required. The role will require frequent presentation to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

Industry experience will preferably be in the context of biomarker discovery/development, bioassay development for preclinical and or clinical development.

Experience with the platforms that traditionally support biomarker assays is desired (e.g. immunoassays, cytometry etc.)

Strong verbal and written communication skills through publication and presentation at conferences.
