Salary commensurate with experience
One (100%) full-time P.M. position with benefits starting on date of hire. Must be available to take calls at home regarding problems in the laboratory on a 24 hour basis.
Duties and responsibilities:- Responsible for fiscal and administrative functions of the Clinical Laboratory, technical functions, and operations of the Flow Cytometry laboratory.

Responsible for performing high complexity specialty flow testing.

Participate in development and continuous re-engineering activities of the department.

Support and direct CQI activities.

Ensure quality and timeliness of patient test results.

Ensure customer needs are met by a technically competent staff in a consumer friendly environment.

Being an active team participant in various department obligations and meetings on matters related to the entire department.
Special condition of employment:- Must possess a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
Qualifications:-
Must have extensive flow cytometry knowledge and experience to provide technical leadership.
- Possess demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations for licensure and accreditation.

Must have excellent communication and demonstrated leadership, teaching, and customer service skills.
Preferred:-
Specialty certification in Flow Cytometry and/or active participant in regional and/or national flow cytometry societies and previous supervisory experience.
