"Biology is a very wide domain addressed by fields which most of the time do not now or communicate with each other. ISAC is a unique opportunity for people working in these different fields to meet and share expertise and knowledge. Indeed if on one hand the Scientific topics may appear different, very often they all have the same common point: the need to investigate cells at the single cell level.
If I am Counselor at ISAC I'll work very hard in order to attract people fiom various fields (such as microbiology for instance) which are not yet well represented within the Society."
