Lori Krueger - candidate for Secretary of ISAC

Over the past 4 years I’ve enjoyed serving the cytometry community as a Clinical Councilor for ISAC. During this time, I have participated in, what I believe, are many positive changes for building the future of our Society. Early in my term, I had the opportunity to develop the implementation plan for ISAC education that resulted from the ISAC Strategic Planning retreat. I am proud that we have made progress in raising the profile of cytometry education by creating a new ISAC Standing Committee for Education and by creating a new position; the Director of Educational Programs. Through Educational Task Forces and Subcommittees we have begun to address critical educational issues in both flow and image cytometry. There is, however, much more work to be done!

I have also actively contributed to the congress organizing committees for the 2006 Quebec City, and the 2008 Budapest ISAC Congresses. Through this process, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience of the numerous little details that make up a successful congress!

It has been a great experience working with ISAC Council and the Membership over these past 4 years. I wish to continue to serve the cytometry community as ISAC Secretary. If elected with your support, I will continue to drive ISAC programs forward to the best of my abilities.
