The 1^st Turkish-US Flow Cytometry Workshop will be hosted by the Institute of Experimental Medicine at Istanbul University. We are expecting to bring 10 experts in flow cytometry from Europe and the United States to meet with an equal number of Turkish faculty members. Approximately 40 participants will be enrolled to take part in the scheduled wet lab sessions with many more expected to attend the open lecture sessions. The topics covered will include flow cytometry basics, cell cycle and proliferation, basic immunology, immunocytochemistry, clinical immunology, hematopoietic stem cell analysis, stem cell SP analysis, signal transduction, drug transport and resistance, apoptosis and bead-based assays.
