To become an ISAC-associated society, an organization must meet the following criteria:

  • Have elected officers;
  • Have a constitution and bylaws, or equivalent governing document, approved by the members of the organization;
  • Maintain a membership roster;
  • Hold regular meetings;
  • At least one member of the organization shall be a member of ISAC;
  • Select a liaison person to ISAC who shall be a member of ISAC.

To become an ISAC-associated society, the organization shall make an application to the secretary of the Council of Associated Societies providing all the materials above.

Once yearly, the secretary of the Council of Associated Societies will see that all information on each ISAC-associated society is up-to-date; any deficiencies will be discussed with the liaison person and if problems persist, the secretary of the Council of Associated Societies will discuss this with Council which may decide on continuation of the ISAC-associated status of that society.
