Affiliates
In December 1992, the council established the position of affiliate of the Society. To become an affiliate of ISAC, an organization must:
- Have elected officers and a constitution and bylaws or equivalent governing document approved by the members of the organization
- Maintain a membership roster
- Hold regular meetings
- Have at least one member who is also a member of ISAC
- Appoint a liaison person to ISAC who shall be a member of ISAC
Applications for affiliate status are made to the secretary of the Society and include all the materials specified above.
As of January 1995, there were three societies affiliated with ISAC:
- Australasian Flow Cytometry Group
- Clinical Cytometry Society
- Chesapeake Cytometry Consortium.
