Scientific Professional Skills Workshop

Dear ISAC Congress Attendee:

 

The ISAC Membership Services Committee is pleased to invite you to attend the Scientific Professional Skills Workshop which will be held on Tuesday 20 May 2008 from 20:00 to 22:00, during the International ISAC Congress in Budapest.

 

This workshop is geared towards young scientists and students. This is the first time the International Congress has held a workshop dedicated to scientific professional skills. Faculty for the workshop includes many successful ISAC members and researchers. Topics to be presented and discussed include: preparing successful grant applications (US and Europe), short term mobility funding for students, how to succeed in writing good scientific papers, and how to prepare and deliver scientific oral and poster presentations.  Round table discussions will commence after the formal presentation portion of the program. A dinner will be offered to all participants.
