Core Managers' Workshop

Moderated by Joanne Lannigan and Derek Davies

The ISAC Core Managers Task Force is pleased to invite you to attend the Core Manager’s Workshop which will be held on Tuesday, 20 May 2008 from 20:00 to 22:00, during the International ISAC Congress in Budapest.

Following on from successful Core Managers workshops at previous ISAC Congresses, this workshop is aimed at anyone who runs or works within a core facility (flow, image or both). We are especially keen in engaging new managers or those who are thinking of setting up a new facility. The audience will contain many experienced core managers who are always willing to share knowledge and experience!

Topics to be presented and discussed will include the resources within ISAC to help and support current, new and future core managers, the ISAC Education initiative include and how to characterize instrument performance. There will also be time for an opportunity to present questions, comments etc from the audience.

This workshop has been kindly sponsored by Becton Dickinson and refreshments will be provided.

If you're interested in attending this workshop, please register by sending an email to cesler@faseb.org with Core Managers Workshop in the subject line of your message.

Kind regards and looking forward to seeing you in Budapest,

Derek Davies
